Thanks, Tammy and Marsha, for the nice comments! I wish I knew the science at work here that causes these icicles to have such a cool inner structure. I do know that the light and colors are due to pointing the camera nearly into the sun, which is on the right yet appears on the left of the icicle, twice (at least).
