Common Redpole

Uploaded: March 18, 2005

Description

I got this little guy last week in my backyard. They're about the size of a Sparrow and quite flighty. The exposure was f5.6 and shutter speed at 1/1000. I used a Tamron 70 t0 300mm lens.

Thanks Judy , Jill , Carla and Marsha. These birds come from quite a ways up North and don't migrate very far for the winter. Usually I'll have a hundred or so at the feeders all winter..It costs me a small fortune to feed them!! But for some reason, they only do this once every two years. #1190047
