A Utah River
Uploaded: February 25, 2005
Where in many parts of the world this would be a trickle of water, in our desert it's a river.

Lori, what river is this? Where in Utah? Was this taken recently, in the winter or is it a summer photo?Nicely done water scene. I like the shiny highlights on the rocks. Has a glossy look. Well composed. #218899

I don't think this river has a name. It's just a small run-off river up in the Centerville mountains behind our house. It was taken last Memorial Day. Thanks for the compliment. I looked at your gallery it looks like your a desert man yourself. #1132837Allan L. Plucinik February 25, 2005
Yes, Colorado and Utah are quite similar in climate and geography especially, of course, where western Colorado and eastern Utah meet. So I end up shooting photos in desert-like areas quite often.I really like Utah. Lived there for several years, went to college in Logan, in-laws there, so Utah is my alternate home state.
There are several photos of Utah in my gallery. I wish I had more time to take more photos in Utah. #1132864

Me too :). It seems like there is never enough time to take all the photos I want to take. I have never been to Colorado. Maybe someday I'll get there. Have a great day. #1132873Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
