Melting Moments

Uploaded: October 03, 2008

Description

Mellon Udrigle, Laide, Scotland. My favorite Scottish beach. Maybe its the indigo mountain backdrop or the windblown desolate perfection of this most beautiful of places. I always feel I can just melt into the place and that photography is purely incidental. This is low tide at the mouth of a small peat stream that twice a day cuts a new path through the soft sand on its way to salt water oblivion. The soft colors are satisfying just before dawn.
