You're a wise man! Another swamp beauty! #6328849Kathleen K. Parker August 18, 2008
Maybe you need to wear a helmet and some other armour, Bill. Don't let anything happen to you! I love this photo by the way. Naming this the end of the area hopefully does not mean the end of these photos!Vladan D. Djordjevic August 18, 2008
Another fantastic image and scenery. The colors, lighting, details, reflection and clarity are excellent. #6329029Colleen Farrell August 18, 2008
That would be a terrible way to go, Bill! We'd all have to say, "He died for his art!" LOL Gorgeous south end perspective of this beautiful bayou. I know it's an illusion but for some reason, this one gives me the feeling that it was cool that day--I think it's the subtle blue tones in the water and bit of sky. #6329076Candice C. Calhoun August 18, 2008
Sounds like a good plan, NOT getting grabbed :) Gorgeous series of bayou photos...I come to you gallery to relax! Sensational!ccc #6329134

Another beautiful capture, great colors and lighting, Bill!! #6329596Bill Knaps August 18, 2008
Thank all of you so much. I will try to answer all who had questions. I appreciate all of you very much. Judy that young boy you saw who lost his arm to a large gator is from Louisiana. Kathleen a helmet would do no good if a gator grabs you and no this will not be the end of my bayou shots. Bayou desiard has many places to shoot. Miles of it. No Colleen it was not a cold or cool day, but not as hot as most right now. I can just see all of you laughing sayine He died for his art after Daniele sends out the mails to tell all a gator got Bill while he was doing what he loved and that would be true. When I tell Daniele bye before going shoot the bayou she tells me Don't Do Anything Stupid. LOL I tell her photographers always do it they want to become great like Herbert Keppler. Bill #6329673Claudia Kuhn August 18, 2008

Bill - Stunning image! I really like it when the water gets smooth as glass and reflects everything! I don't have worries about gators eating me alive up here in the north but the mosquitos have tried! :) - Mike #6343516Bill Knaps August 21, 2008
Thanks Mike for your nice comment on my photo. I have never been mosquito bit on this bayou for some reason. Gator never bit me yet either. LOL Bill #6345064Nancy (Peaches) Harker August 22, 2008

Susan M. Campbell August 22, 2008
Wise choice Bill. The gator may have also run off with your camera...LOL. Love all the green in this shot. #6352547Bill Knaps August 22, 2008
Thank you Peaches, Janet and Susan for your nice comments. Appreciate you very much. Peaches my wife will write everyone if a gator would get me. I would not want to just drop out of the picture and none of you know why. No Susan I have a rope tied to my truck bumper and to my camera so if a gator pulls me in my camera will stay with my truck and my wife can post the picture of that gator comming at me with his mouth open. What a shot that would be. LOL Bill #6352667Susan Weisensel August 24, 2008
