What IS this Ellen?? #980037David Pratt August 14, 2008
Cool shot Ellen. Almost abstract like, The pointed tents are a nice contrast to the soft puffy clouds. #6315008Ellen Powell August 14, 2008
Thanks Ruth and Dave. Dave got it, Ruth. It's an image of a bunch of peaks of a large white tent up in the clouds. #6315025Joan Powell August 14, 2008
Ellen , I think I like this one better then you winner . I just love blue and white together . It's so clean and bright . #6315093Ellen Powell August 14, 2008
I like it better, too, Joan. The winner was taken at the same park last year, on during the same celebration ("National Night Out"). Last year it was an overcast day and the picture was pretty blah. That's why I used sepia on it. This year, as you can see, it wasn't. I have a bunch of these from this year. I'm submitting some to Photo Shelter. #6315126Vladan D. Djordjevic August 14, 2008
Great curves, tones, lighting and colors. #6315173Ruth Grimm August 14, 2008
Well, to be honest, I DO see that this is and image of four tent peaks in a beautiful cloud filled sky.Ruth #6315261

Thanks for your compliment, Vladan. #6315279Mitch Spence November 13, 2008
Very nicely seen graphics here, Ellen, with the two-color palette of blue and white. Ah, you're in Vermont--what a beautiful place that must be in the fall. #6750903Ellen Powell November 13, 2008
Thanks, Mitch. Yes, Vermont has some great eye candy. Just yesterday, for the first time this year, I saw snow in the mountains but it isn't here in the valley yet. Got to try to get some snaps of that before it snows down here, too. Quite dramatic! #6751112Bill Knaps November 15, 2008
