Say your prayers and take your vitamins!

Description

This is a shot of my husband, Matt, after warning me as to what would happen if I didn't take care of the lens he just got me!! He thinks he is soooooo tough!!!!

The title comes from Hulk Hogan in the 80s. My brother-in-law and I have had an on going competition this week with pulling out sayings from the 80s and texting them back and forth...some say we are "nerds" but we think we are "totally rad!!"

Cropped and converted to black and white using vanillia action.

Have a wonderful weekend!!!!

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.67, ExposureTime: 1/200 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 400, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 95.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT

OK, I am not even sure if I can comment on the picture, bec. I have too many comments on the 80's thing!!

The brother-in-law she is referring to is my husband, and I would not call what they have been doing a "competition," but rather, an OBSESSION!!! They have been playing with their phones like teenagers!!

I have to admit that I have helped my husband with ideas, I am too competitive to let him lose, and I know just how good Bean is with her 80's! Did I mention obsessed!? lol

Nice shot Bean - I can see right through Matt's grumpy face though! lol #6228887

Tee hee - which lens did he buy for you? And, hmmmm - I bet I could come up with some killer 80s saying - "Like totally, for sure, gag me with a spoon!"

Beautiful close up and conversion Jeanine! #6231094

Thank you Michelle and Shari!!! :)

The lens he got me was the Canon EF 28-135mm. This is a huge upgrade for me because I was using the kit lens from my 35mm Rebel. #6231481

Jeanine- Good morning my friend. I am loving this in your face shot. I love doing them as it really emphasizes the expressions. I also love that you kept it natural. I keep saying men dont have faces as smooth as a babies behind, so leave it alone and show the real person as is.
Excellent lighting and clarity. Love the conversion to black and white. I also enjoyed the title and the competiton of sayings of the 80's.
He looks like he can be tough if need be.
Sensational work.
Have yourself a most wonderful day, take care of yourself and hubby.
