Awesome colour, lovely reflections, must say I have never seen red algae...looks great...I gather that Bayou is another word for swamp!!
Beautifully captured and presented Bill!

#6227423

Bill Knaps July 24, 2008

No No Avril, A bayou is like a small river or large creek. Swamps can lead to or off the bayou and somtimes there are just bayous like this one. For some reason this part of the bayou has little current and the algae forms more easily. Other parts have a better current and no algae. Thanks for your nice comments and support Avril. I appreciate you very much. Bill #6227439

Michelle L. Frick July 24, 2008

Hey Bill - our salt chlorination system went out in our pool and I had some nice green algae you might have made look good. My kids were NOT happy!

Meanwhile, this is beautiful so long as I don't have to swim in it. Great range of colors, and I love how you framed out the shot with the moss in the trees and then stopped us from leaving the frame with the tree trunk. Great comp! #6227471

Bill Knaps July 24, 2008
