Maryland's Upper Youghiogheny River..(pronounced; "Yock-a-ganey")is a popular destination for whitewater enthusiasts.
In winter, this sprawling river is transformed into a dramatic display of ice and rapids.

I don't see you squeezing a remote so is this a timed capture where you were able to get in place before the shutter captured the photo or did you hide something from us?? #1007759

Shirley,... the remote trigger is in a little velcro-enclosed pocket in the front of my neophrene waders, and is being activated with my left hand.
The triggering device (transmitter) of my Quantum Radio Slave is pretty small,...about half the size of a pack of cigarettes, so it's easily hidden from view.
With a fresh set of batteries, I can activate a motor-driven camera from up to 200 feet away.
