The photo opt is good, light could be better but what I suggest in situations like this is to pay attention to the higlights.

All the detail on the white shirts is lost, and the face of the man in the foreground it too bright. This exposure could be lowered -1.0 EV and you'll be able to get good details both on the bright and the dark areas.

That's on the technical side, about the message what I see is a document of a lifestyle. From that point of view it is an important image.

The man on the far end has amazing eyes...(I am into eyes right now)...he has such anger in them...the photo is very interesting..rather scary in a way...but a sign of the times.... (no pun intended)
