A Different Drummer

Uploaded: June 30, 2008

Description

"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away." Henry David Thoreau, Walden, Conclusion, 1854.

Nikon D70, ISO 1000, 1/80 at f/5.6, photographed with a 55-200 Nikon VR lens from the stands inside an arena. I had my camera bag on my lap and braced my elbows on it for support. The noise/grain is mainly from the D70 at the high ISO, toning and burned edges added in Lightroom and Photoshop.

Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/80 seconds, Flash: fired, auto mode, return light detected, ISO: 1000, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 200.00 mm, Model: NIKON D70

Nice shot, Beth. I like the BW for this one. That is an unusual way to hold the sticks! #951878
