Description

I took this picture aboard the Bluenose 2 today as I was lucky enough to go for a sail on her...For those of you that don't know the Bluenose was a racing schooner, and in an 18-year career, not one ship could could take the first place trophy from her! The Bluenose 2 was lanched in 1963 and was built from the identical plans as Bluenose, in the same shipyard and by some of the same men! This ship is also on the Canadian 10 cent piece called a dime
