Wow, Aggie. This is great with the red reflection on the wall. Love how the light is streaming across the front of the piano. You were in the right spot at the right time. Luv it.... #932539

This is stunning, easily one of my favorites of yours. If this does not make it as a finalist I would be shocked.

What a great find!! Great job photographing this, too! So, you just up and ran off to Cuba last week, huh? hee hee. Would love to see more of your trip! #6002488

Aggie Villanueva May 31, 2008

lol. I probably should have said, Cuba, NM. We also have a Las Vegas here, but Deborah already knows our Las Vegas.

Thankx so much for all your encouragement. I was is such a hurry as the sun quickly left this corner, and my flash is broken, so I had to be quick to catch the true light, which was so much better than my flash would have been.

This was the only picture where I had the presence of mind to set the piano stool askew like that. It looked funny in the other 2 shots as it was just pushed up under the keyboard. I'm just grateful one of the pix was usuable. #6002517

I remember driving through New Mexico and seeing the Las vegas sign and thining..."there must be some mistake. ROFL... I mean if you are in TX and see Paris...10 Miles... you know ... but just the corner of the world you are in ... It kinda floored me for a moment.

Oh ... yes.. and this is a knock your socks of rock'n'roll boogie woogie.. way out fantabulous piano. You did it great justice Abbie!! #6002947

This is really beautiful. I love the light on the wall and your composition. Good thing your flash wasn't working because the natural light makes it so wondrful.
We have a CUBA NY, just north of western PA, it's pretty much in the mountains:) #6003956

Thankx Joan, I get those finger & mind Fritz more often than not!!!

Thankx Molly. I agree, After I had discovered my flash wasn't working, this was the only picture I tried for. That lighting was pure gift to a photographer! #6004343

Love this, Aggie. You are right--the piano bench at an angle is perfect. If this gets passed, you enter it again in June, you hear :) #6022417

Thankx Candice. So nice of you to comment. In my ever-frustrating color management, red is so hard. But this one came through for me. #6027696

Angie, what can I say that hasn't already been said? I love all your work, but this is such a favorite for me. Looking at it just plain makes me HAPPY! Outstanding work. #6173871

Thankx so much Jessica, Dorann, Lisa, Joan, Irene and Jan. I can't wait to get my new giclee printer and see if those colors are true in print. I'm hoping to buy it in a month or two and then I'll be able to print up to 17 X22 inches. Even on metallic paper. Yipee. A first in my household! #6174103
