Michael, I like your idea here, but somehow it's not working. I have been thinking about if you would crop out the left corner maybe. Or if the lines had been more straight, that you would have taken the picture in a different angle. But then the directions of the poles would have been different. Eivor, Thank you very much for your comment here. As I'm replying here after the image has been awarded an EP, it would be easy to now take the high-ground and see more in the image than I did initially which was indeed just like you; it wasn't working for me. I had several shots to work with in editing and this was the only one that did anything at all for me. The hinged access cover is down which made for some unusual issues trying to line things up and I really didn't know how this would be perceived by others. I think I entered this more out of frustration from my recent entries not judging so well and just wanted to throw something different out there. I spent sometime going through the recent finalist in the elements of design category and realized that there is a lot of leeway in what judges well. Texture, color, and lines seemed to do well and I guess that is at least what I was attempting to present here. I was very surprised to get an EP and want to try working this category more in the future.
