Hi Sue, my name is George, and I'm new to BP.I live in southern Oregon, and I was at the beach on the same date as you.First your image is superbly rendered, pov, composition and excellent timing.I noticed you shoot a cannon eos series. My friend and I had nikons. I was hit by a sneaker wave and our cameras got wet, hers was a d-200, mine the venerable f-4, they were rendered unusable.Do you feel confident with cannons seals and build quality in this saltwater envieronment? or do you use a plasic prtective bag or ikelite type housing for protection?.Also do you use or reccomend the "L" series lenses?.Have you had problems cleaning the cmos sensor or had to return it to canon for service, if so do they charge?.Any knowledge you can impart to me is gratefully and thankfully recieved.
