I found these steps belonging to an old home near the Intercoastal Waterway in Palm Beach, FL being encroached on by this colorful vine. While the owner's may be studying designs for the home's future or economically challenged, nature has no such ambivalence. I used Apple's iPhoto to tweak the image. Enjoy!

I like the color combination a lot here, also the light and the composition. A great find! Your lens seems to be working very well, you've got great clarity. #890954

Thank you Eivor and Tiia for you comments here.

Eivor, the lens is incredible. I used it extensively on Sunday in Palm Beach on a photo walk of several miles. I loaded up on some great floral and plant images; something I could not do with the 70-300mm VR as it could not focus closer than 9 feet. The 18-200mm VR, in addition to it's unprecedented range, can focus as close as 19 inches even at full zoom. This is great for flowers, bugs, etc. The optics are clearly superior as well. I will miss the 200-300mm range at the beach I'm sure but so far I love it. I am very impressed with the full size images. They look spectacular on my 24'' iMac's screen. #5730034

I WANT that lens... well, not yours specifically, LOL but one like it! Anyhow, this is very cool and clean looking. Nice work! Funny how nature can take care of itself when we give it room, eh? #5730782
