From the CC ... I really like this, Jane. The sepia and texture works wonderfully. Not sure about the bright but empty area in the upper left. But if you cropped it you would lose most of the tulip on the right. I just think it nees something up there because the brightness of it pulls at my eyes. If you are putting this into contests, here or elsewhere, I would suggest leaving off the copyright. Though I do understand the concern with theft.

A very nice image - gives me the warm fuzzies. #887985

From the CC ...

Jane, I like this also and concur with Mick re the upper left corner. I don't know how to fix that, however.

Different thought: What would it look like to remove the textured layer?

Maybe clone into the corner. The upper left corner is too bright compaired to the rest of the image.

OR a thought...Don't know if this would work, but what about removing that area and putting something in its place like one does with a dull sky. #5741422

Thanks Sarah, Leland and Mick - I'm going to try working on it this weekend - I appreciate your comments! #5742131

Hope something works for you. It is a beautiful image.

Also, I noticed a "scratch" on the tulip near the top right. Texture can be nice, but something is "up" with that spot.

Looking further, I actually see it in other places (bottom left under tulip as example). However, that one is not an issue as it is in the "dark" and not on a main subject, only the leaf. #5743297
