A Little Crabby

Uploaded: March 08, 2008

Description

SAND CRAB
These crabs are small land and water crabs here in the South. This one was about 2 inches spread by an inch high. The light was from a flashlight and my regular camera flash in pure darkness...as they come out on the beach at night to feed.

Thank Mukesh !!! They are so neat. They live in little holes they dig in the sand on our beaches and they are REALLY lightening fast...we have been chasing them since we were kids...and then retreating, screaming and laughing once they turn and run back towards us...hehehhehe ( As IF they could actually even hurt us ). Alot of fun has come from these very interesting little crabs for many children.
