WOW! #13254

Carly,

I came out of Wal-Mart from dropping some pictures off and this is what greeted me! It was the most intense sunset. People all over the parking lot were just staring at the sky. I wanted to jump in my car and race over to my friends loft a few min away to catch the this through his 18 foot windows (thought it would be a cool frame) but then decided that I needed to just snap a few right away. The only thing that I had to frame to picture (other than just pure sky) was Wal-Mart itself. Mildly atypical, but hey...you have to do what you have to do right? Good thing to, because about a minute later it was gone. I mean absolutely gone...so you think Wal-Mart would want to buy this shot or sue me for shooting unauthorized pictures of their building? haha. Thanks for commenting. I was hoping that someone would so that I could tell my story. Thanks again...it is always more than you asked for I am sure.

I think you should try selling it to them - it would make a great, eye appealing advertisement. I think people miss the natural things in our world with all the commercialism. This shot ties the two together. They could use it in a campaign, "Wal*Mart cares about the environment" or a slogan "Wal*Mart -where time stands still" or something much better than I could ever say. Our Wal*Mart just opened a few days ago.

Way to take advantage of your few minutes with this wonderful sunset. I like it against the Wal-mart. #24278

You probably took that one right after dropping off some pictures or picking some up I bet. You gotta love this shot because its a great capture of a real moment in time. There are some pictures that you look at and while they are great and might tell a story, there's something about them, that they can happen anywhere at any time. There's something just extra special about catching a moment like that, where in a couple more minutes it would be gone. Nice job buddy! #24341

Thanks Heather, Carly, and Patrick,

I AM going to try and sell this Carly (see if I can't make some money to buy a digital SLR!), thanks for the kind words Pat (soon my friend, soon...) and Heather, I can't tell you enough how much I enjoy your work and it is very encouraging to hear your kind words...keep up the good work.
