Sandra R. Alvey February 20, 2008

Thank you all so very very much for your wonderful comments!

As far as the promotion goes, I went up $2.50 an hour from my previous pay, and will basically be doing the same exact thing that I've been doing for the past year. Yes, I've been taken advantage of for that long! LOL! I'm pretty happy though, because I like my job (for the most part) and the people I work with (for the most part) and I have a pretty good boss (for the most part). LOL! #5523092

Ken Smith level-classic February 20, 2008

At first, I thought you were looking down...kinda an illusion. Cool shot! WOOT!! #5523624

Sandra R. Alvey February 20, 2008

Thank you so much Margaret, Melissa, and Ken! *hugs*

Ken I actually was looking down. I laid the camera directly on the beam of the bridge pointing down tword the middle, about 12 inches from the bolts. I let the camera focus it's self and took about 10 shots. If you look close, you can see a peak of the river on the left center. #5523716

Patrick Rouzes level-classic February 20, 2008

Reynaldo D. Reyes level-classic February 21, 2008

Te POV and selective focus is striking on this one. It would be nice and daring perhaps to walk along the lenght of the beam to get that exhilirating feeling... second thought...nah! #5528968

Sandra R. Alvey February 22, 2008

Thank you Tammy and Reynaldo!

Hey Reynaldo...I use to walk across them when I was a kid, brave and fearless and sure that I'd never get hurt. Now...I don't think you could get me up there. LOL! #5535066

Carolyn J. Connolly February 26, 2008

Sandi, this is yet again another WONDERFUL addition to your series of Iron Works images!! I REALLY like your point of view here (although I don't like heights!), and your selective focus is EXCELLENT!! The textures, lighting, tones, details AND composition are all SUPERB, too!! :o) #5558605

Sandra R. Alvey February 26, 2008

Thank you so much Carolyn for your wonderful comment!! :D #5558717
