Vivi with Stray
Uploaded: October 12, 2004
This cat was skittish at first, but it shortly turned to ridiculously affectionate. I think it was affection starved :-(.

Very nice capture. I can almost hear her talking to the cat. #177843Andrew Colby October 12, 2004
Thank you, that is exactly what she was doing. I knew when I had a chance to see how much she really loved cats that she was the one for me :-) #836788Jill Flynn October 12, 2004
Nice shot Andrew. You can really see the tension in the cat's body. So did Vivi adopt the cat? #836825Bonnie C. Lackey October 12, 2004
Beautiful image of communications... #836846Andrew Colby October 12, 2004
Thanks all, Vivi just recently adopted a stray who is still very much a "wild animal." These two didn't get along :-( But she feeds it, and it is always outside of her house. #836884Andrew Colby October 12, 2004
I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions on improving this photo. #837706Jill Flynn October 12, 2004
You might try cropping it a little tighter to draw attention to the hand and the cat. I would leave in just a little bit of Vivi's face. Other than that I wouldn't change a thing. It's a great photograph. #837743Andrew Colby October 12, 2004
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try it and submit when it is done. #838533Andrew Colby October 13, 2004

I like it Andrew. It's a great picture - it's very telling and emotional. #841760Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
