Lucky Fire Escape
Uploaded: October 01, 2004
Taken early AM. Handheld - nothing has been done to the original photo.
After walking through the city for a short time, my young daughter happened to turn around, look up and see this staircase between two buildings.
She has a great eye for detail and suggested to me that it might make a good photo...goes to show you need eyes in the back of your head (or observant company) to "see" everything a city has to offer.

Donna,This is a great composition. I really like how the angles of the fire escape and the building to the right mirror each other a bit. Also the combination of colors and textures you included are really rich visually. well done!
