Baby Bighorn
Uploaded: January 18, 2008
Baby bighorn sheep, Yellowstone National Park, evening
f/5.6, 1/125 sec, Sigma 300-800mm
Taken near the road close to sunset. The cliff blocked the sun, but the ambient light from the sky was bright enough to provide a very nice soft lighting for the baby. Using my big Sigma lens, I positioned myself so that the sheep could approach me and I waited for them to get close enough for a good shot.
Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: -0.67, ExposureTime: 1/125 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 800, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 572.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 5D
