TYhank you very much everyone (Theresa, Jan, Marcie, Alan, Colleen, and Sanjay) for the great comments and appreciated fine words, my friends - you good friend, AllanColleen, they are actually about 50' apart. This is my favorite type of sailing scene, as you can never tell how far apart they are and they are always on different 'tacks', eh… - 'A', … #781750

Thanx everyone (Wally, Rob, Joy, Kathryn, Darren, Wayne, Evy, Mike A, Susan, Dan, and Robin) for the gr8 comments and very kind words. MIke, it comes from years of experience, a large (40') platform and a new VR (Vibration Reduction) lens doesn't hurt either as Murry has attested to, eh (he, he, he) Thanx again y'all, my dear friends - your good friend, Allan #783239Kelly Abernathy September 15, 2004

Great capture Allan. #783454Allan L. Whitehead September 15, 2004
Thank you so much, Deborah and Susan, for the gr8 commnets and kind words. Deborah, you are certainly correct, the VR lenses are totally phenominal. Also my Nikon 'D 70' is a VR camera, but if you want to use the VR lenses with it you must shut the VR function in the '70' off or you get about a 1.5 - 2 second delay from snapping to photo, which can be frustrating the 1st time it happens and youi don't know what the heck is going on. Lots of fun. Thanx again - Allan #783541Diane Addonizio September 15, 2004
Wonderful capture and presentation, Alan! #784113Allan L. Whitehead September 16, 2004
