Thanks. I use alien bees also. I have two lights here and a reflector for fill. I'm barely lighting the backdrop with my second light.
I use an 18% grey card to custom white balance my shots, and an old minolta IV flash meter to determine my exposure. This was 1/125th, 100iso, and f-8.
