david
what a great eye you have to see this and capture it in such an effective way. you have inspired me to try your approach the next time I am at the coast, which is not too often. thanks #5168138

Amazing image, David...I'd almost swear you photo-shopped this - don't think I've ever seen a wave break like that! Should be a winner! #5177776

Thanks Justin and Robert. I managed to sneak this panorama in before the size constraint took effect.

Robert, it was just a lucky happenstance. A boat leaving the harbor created a wake which combined with the small swell to create this pattern. I saw it happen with a previous boat, so I waited to see if I could be lucky enough for it to happen again before the light got too intense. I lucked out. #5227375

Your wave pattern photos are so beautiful, David. Easy to see why they catch the editors' eye as well as why you like them. Good luck with this favorite. #5368476

Hi David!

I was inspired to look at your gallery from your Junkyard Cat picture. All I can say is Wow....your work is so stunning! This is at Santa Barbara, where do you shoot your surfing pics? They are the best I have ever seen....I live on the central coast...

Anyways, a real treat to view your work! #6142301

This is marvelous. I would try entering it in N&L just to see how does it fare there! Good Luck, David.
