I took the original at the Bear Mtn Pow Wow this past August. The dancer was holding out his bustle and consented to the photograph.

A lot of work, imagination and intent go into the making of these regalia. That along with the traditional meaning, has a powerful effect on the individual wearing it as well as the viewer.
