A close up of this years vintage. macro filter rings, 28-80mm lens - using 80. Pre set camera at 125/16, metered to the sky and adjusted. In pse2, two layers, quick fixes, drop shadow and sharpened.

Thanks for your comment about my Tomato on the Vine Line. Coming from you it is a great compliment. I love so many of your photos and this one of the grapes is one of my favorites. The softness, the grain, the lighting, the black and white background that transports the soft green color into focus. It is absolutely stunning. I would love to learn how to do this, especially since I often take shots of fruits and vegies at the market place here in Italy. I read that you do not hand hold your camera. What would you recommend to purchase in order to do this and any other tips to do with my Canon Rebel so that I can also create this kind of effect? You are an inspiration!! Diane thanks so much, send me an email and I will be able to have more space to answer your questions. I use a tripod, Kodak Gold 200 or Fuji Superia 200. This was done in layers, with the b&w put on top, and the colour brought out by the eraser tool.
