How are you doing?
Well I really like the bright orange from the cats fur and your idea of this shot.
But I think that maybe.... If you just could have gotten a bit more of the eyes it would have been great! Also you might try using a dark background since the cat is orange and it would stand out even more than it does against the white.

Isabel, thanks so much for your comments and encouragements! I do appreciate it. I agree with the dark background. that is the kind of thing i'm trying to learn...correct lighting, background getting extra stuff out of the frame, etc.

Hi Thomas,
I do agree with Isabel when she mentions getting a little more of the eyes, but not with a dark BG.
The color of the cat is already a medium, to a stop darker than medium, orange. If you use, or have, Photoshop, try using selective color to adjust the white background, that's what will make the cat color "pop". Good Luck and certainly by all means, give the dark BG a try and see what you come up with. I'd like to see it if you do. Regards, Ro. #779192
