Yes, I admit that I am scared poo-less! This is right good, but.... #772560David Pratt October 28, 2007
Oh yeah Dave! Super bonus points for being very scary! AWesome work here. Is this the burial of the 08 Yankees??? #4993824Lisa J. Boulden October 28, 2007
Spooky and cool, David!Crystal L. Craig October 28, 2007
Wow Dave, this is seriously spooky creepy and nightmarish! And also fabulously composed, awesome colour, lighting, excellent details. I am very glad I do NOT live in your neighborhood, yikes! How in the world did you do this? Don't tell me you were just passing by and thought ... "Oh, this will make a nice photo" #4993896Nikki McDonald October 28, 2007
Yeah, I gotta admit this is spooky, Dave. That dark figure--how did you get a shot of a death eater--scarcely visible in the dark gives me the creeps. Nothing for silly, but 1/2 point for spooky. Who's keeping track? #4993945Dianna Hauf October 28, 2007
Oh my word! You weren't kidding when you siad "scary"!!! This is terribly well composed Dave and way too eerie and sinister!!! Great lighting and 'shadowed' figures! Kudos and yea, a few points!!! #4994092Dave Winchell October 28, 2007
Aw shucks. Ya all make me blush. This image is actually 5 photos. The building has always fascinated me and I shot it a couple weeks ago on an overcast day. The death eater is me wearing a hoody, a blanket wrapped around my middle and photographed as a shadow through a sheet. What you can't make out at this resolution is that the light in the window is actually my daughter Alli shot with a flashlight under her chin. You know, the figure watching the ghoul dig the grave, oooooo. This was fun. #4994123Patricia A. Stalter October 28, 2007
I agree, this has made us think of things to do and has helped with our creativity. Speaking for myself and Hussy... we have had a great time. :) #4994128Dave Winchell October 28, 2007
Pat, I really spend a lot of time running through ideas leading up to the shootouts. It can be very time consuming but has helped me to think outside of the box. #4994165David Pratt October 28, 2007
20,000 additional points for the great thought that went into this.. #4994211Ellen Powell October 28, 2007
I hate to say it, Dave, but I'M REALLY IMPRESSED!!!!! This looks like a real scene!! I agree with Pat that it gives one ideas about what's possible, so thank you!! How did you get that pile of dirt? Fabulous! #4994240Crystal L. Craig October 28, 2007
I had to come back again ... don't let it go to yer head though. This really is fabulous work Dave. Seamless blending in PS, wish we could zoom in more on some of these! #4994261Dave Winchell October 28, 2007
Ellen, thank you so much. I'll be smiling all week. The original scene lacked the dirt but I sell mining equipment in NYS and my daughter had me bring home that image last Wednesday. She knew what it needed. #4994435Dave Winchell October 28, 2007
Crystal, I am beside myself with your kind words. All kidding aside, based on your gallery, it means a lot to me. Sentimentality aside now, is this an admission of defeat? #4994453Crystal L. Craig October 28, 2007
I was going to say something about good taste, but I realized what I was about to step into. Harrrrumph!Defeat? Darling, I believe you're in denial. Very common self protection reflex but not at all healthy. #4994468
Ellen Powell October 28, 2007
Defeat?????? IN YOUR DREAMS. Dave, Denial is a river in Egypt.... #4994585Amanda D. Austwick October 28, 2007

Damn, Dave, if I didn't know better, I'd say you were enjoying and getting good at Photoshop! :) I really do think this is one of your better images. Good stuff with a fine composition.Dave Winchell October 28, 2007
Crystal and Ellen, I am so pleased that you are becoming more comfortable with the nothion of defeat. Say it with me now, "the men win." :)Steve, I sm pleased you like it.It was a lot of fine and I enjoyed working on it with my daughter. Dave #4995216
Ellen Powell October 28, 2007
Dave, Although I think your image is VERY good, it's a long way from that to crying defeat!!! We certainly have nothing to do with any "nothion" of defeat, whatever that is.... some secret girly boy word? Do you guys have your own code? Oooooh. #4995431Dave Winchell October 28, 2007
Ellen, I am so glad, no matter how hard I try, I continue to give you material! Enjoy #4995633Crystal L. Craig October 28, 2007

Samantha, thank you so much for your comments. It is just fun comparing work with this group.Elizabeth, I didn't say I didn't like the fact that your image was dark just that why couldn't that big bug be eating a woman instead of a MAN? ;) #4998442
