Description

Stripes and arches, light and shadow created an architectural dreamscape for me. All the churches of Spain offer their own wonder.

This is a lovely photo taken under difficult lighting conditions.

I really like the subject and the patterns created within the photo. I would like to see the photo, perhaps, 1/3 to 1/2 stop overexposed from what it currently is.

Cheers,
Glenn #766

Thank you Glenn for your kind comments. Strangly enough, what I saw in the viewfinder was exactly what came out. I'll try the overexposure although I really love the deep blacks. #1116

Hi, Bill:

Yes, I do agree with you that the photo's lighting is interesting. However, you can never be sure as to what will be best for the photo. You should always bracket your shots in conditions like this. This way you can go through and pick the one that really does work best.

Good photo!

Cheers,

Great picture, Glenn,

Just one thing: this is a mosque, not a church. Indeed, the Cathedral of Cordoba was built right in the middle of the mosque, but these arcs belong to the mosque.
I have been there several times and the arcs and windows provide for excellent lightning conditions.

Congratulations!
