I shot this today for Sabrina - an 18 year-old who just got her real estate license & needed shots for her business cards. The lighing set up is as follows: a Mola 33" beauty dish with a diffuser at full power above & in front of Sabrina about 3 feet, a 4X6' Photoflex Softbox on the floor pointed up at her at 1/2 power. I built a 3 sided "sentry box" with 4X8' 1/2" foam core with silver Mylar emergency blankets glued to the inside so that the box forms & upside down "U." The Mylar acts as a reflector & hair light & reflects the two main lights evenly around the model. I use Profofo lighting but I'm sure any good flash system will work.

Skyy, What an AWESOME portrait! Sure, it always helps to start with a gorgeous model, but the lighting and overall results are superb!!!Skyy McKendry October 09, 2007
Thanks, Ellen, Lisa & Ramie! A beautiful model is 80% of a great photo. I forgot to mention that I retouched this using the Glitterguru's (Suzette Troche-Stapp) retouching technique. You can learn how do do it here:http://www.graphic-design.com/Photoshop/glamour.html
