Standing OUT!!! Resub-MT

Uploaded: October 07, 2007

Description

Taken around 1pm.I'm not sure what the deal is in the sub-division I live in but there are a few wacked out houses. This one is creepy at night from the front because you can hardly see it, its so dark. I was to lazy to drive over and take a pic of the front. Maybe another day...LOL!

See now Brenda, THIS is what I was looking for and was so disappointed to find they had resided their house in WHITE! They still had the wacked out color for the trim, but it just didn't have the same punch, ya know? LOL Anyway, you've got a winner here! #4896883

Thanks Peaches, Cyn and Deb! I had a friend that used to live just below this house in a cul-de-sac. I was at her house the day they started painting the backside. I said looks like your neighbors are going with a horrible blue color. She looked out her window and said maybe it's a primer! I laughed and said I'd never seen a Primer that dark in my life. Before they went with the dark trim it was a sky blue color it looked neon against the terqouise. LOL! #4898252

There's a place in NC near Wilmington..every house in the subdivision is painted this way. Hot purple..salmon..turquoise..navy blue. But everybody does it..and it's quite stunning to see. They are also beach homes..makes a big difference LOL #4898262

This is crazy funny, Must have been a great sale on blue paint. #4898318

Hi Cyn and Susan! Thanks for stopping by. I think the bright colored houses are neat if they are in an area where they all do it but in a neighborhood where the colors are all earthy tones well they just stick out like a sore thumb! Maybe there was a sale on Blue paint. Rumor has it that the company that built the homes offered to repaint it free because so many people complained but they refused because they liked the blue! AUGHHHH Cough Cough choke and gag is how I looked at it. #4898352

Brenda- Hey girl. Hope your doing well.
Fabulous entry into the MT as that house sure does stand out from the rest. Excellent pov and composition. Lighting and clarity are superb. Details and color bring out the unique look at the houses and that one just standing out.
Great work
Have yourself a fabulous day, take care, be safe. #5742693
