Thank you, Sunny.
I am only in the very beginning of my pursuit of photography with "the heart." I have always loved to take pictures, have boxes of pictures -- of the common, everyday variety. Always with the desire in the heart for more. But life stayed full with family and work and family. You know how it is. :-)
My life is still full with family and work, but now it is grandchildren more than children. Yet the time has come to make time for "me" a little bit too, and photography is it. I look at lots of galleries here on Betterphoto. So many absolutely awesome pictures, like your "Got Fish?" and your sea pictures and the rest. It stirs the desire deeper within to achieve the skill you and all the others have. I mark as my favorite the ones that I hope some day to be able to replicate the skill or use an effect "effectively." I am honored that you looked at my humble gallery. I am still working on figuring how to operate this website, but I will check how to add you to my favorites, too.
This is being really nice to be able to communicate.
Have you taken any of the classes? I would like to, soon. They look like good teaching and fun.

Hi, Sunny.
I too am enjoying the communication.
It is nice to have someone to share the love of photography with.
My co-workers think me "funny" that I take so many pictures. I guess maybe I am.
I haven't taken any classes yet, except I have signed up for the free course and am working in it. I have learned so much already. I hope to take others as well, as I am able find the finances.
I live in Minnesota.
My sister and her son's family live in Montana.
I get to go there from time to time to visit. It is beautiful.
The mountains sure stir the heart with their majesty and freedom.
My sister's son was killed in Iraq on October 25 of last year. We approach the anniversary of his death, and I must admit that some days the tears won't stop. Now when I look at the mountains of Montana, they are extra special to me because Chuckie loved them so much and looking at them is looking at them for him.
Thank you for considering adding me to your favorites. I am honored, since you are such a great photographer.
I hope you will email as often as you like. I enjoy the "talk."

Hi Rebecca, It took me a while. It's been hectic here. I am having my first time at a local show/festival. I am excited, but so nervous! The people are a great group to be with which helps greatly!
