     Hard Day !!!!!

Uploaded: September 13, 2007

Description

Hallo Bay Alaska.
Grizzly bears spend time digging razor clams out of the beach. Naps come wherever there's a spot that looks comfy! All that energy expended digging can wear one out. Bald eagles hang out for leftovers and fox wander between them all.
Enjoy

Shahn being an Alaskan myself and not transplanted to Alabama, I especially like this wonderful image. Great timing and wonderful comp on this. #737456

Wow Shahn, What a shot! Being much to far from my beloved Alaska, I know how hard it is to capture this. Right time, right place! Eagle, Fox, and a Griz! We all hope to see one, you got all three! Keep the camara close and ready. Great Job! #4788353

Shan, WOW... this image shows me a whole new world. Looks like a mountain in the background...what an amazing image, like something I'd see in National Geographic! Very inspiring photo. Lynn #4818265

Thanks every one for the support and kind words. This is in Katmai National Park in Alaska, the mountain range on the right is beside a glacier. The run off from the glacier enters a river that winds it's way into the ocean. The grizzly bears and fox come here in season and dig up razor clams, the eagles of course come for left overs!
Thanks

Great, great capture!
Between the immature eagle and the look on the grizzly in the mud, too neat!!

Thanks for letting us see this!

My pleasure, it was strange taking this picture with the bear watching me...... #5405721

Actually I wondered about that!
How far were you? Across any water?
Again a very neat photo!!

Hi Jim
No water, no fences, no where to run.... A very risky place to be in mind and body but a memory for life for me. Sharing the pictures for now is all I can do, someday maybe a book.
Thanks
