Description


As I woke this fateful morn...
tears and countrymen fell.
The hand of hate stretched round the globe...
and terror touched us all.

We knew not that this day would come...
when heroes met their fate.
As we watched events unfold...
the price we payed was great.

We know not what the future holds...
for loved ones near and far.
A heartfelt wish for peace on earth...
I place on every star.

My son once asked, "What makes America scared?" The events of this day were the first thing that came to mind. A tragedy such as this is beyond explanation but bears the burden of rememberance.
I take pause today to honor the fallen and their families and pray for healing and the health of all the countries in our world.
