Thank you, Dan and Diane. I was out shooting with my Arboretum photography class and our instructor stopped here to shoot a landscape including all the wildflowers growing there with the trees in the distance. As soon as I stopped, I saw this composition just sitting there waiting. I was the only one who shot this group of flowers. And, it was right next to the path. You almost ran into it walking past! I did point it out to another student in the class and she shot it too. And, the overcast morning light helped bring out the colors evenly. #648747

Lovely, Pat, with the soft greens and that bright orange making such an eye-catching contrast! #649401

Thanks, Carol. I love daisy-type flowers and I love the sunset and earth toned colors. So seeing these orange daisy flowers meant I HAD to take the shot. In Bryan Peterson's class, we had an assignment on color and we were to post at least one shot that had two complementary colors in it. Primary colors are red, blue, yellow and complementary colors are orange, green and purple. Did I find this during the class? No, but I learned enough to spot it in the field. I also liked the vertical lines of the bacground stems. They seem to echo the daisy stems. #649432
