Jennifer & Debra: Thank you so much. I really appreciate hearing your comments. I was out shooting with my Arboretum class on an overcast morning when the sun started peeking through. This was taken with the sun still behind the clouds, but with enough intensity to light the leaf edges. Sometimes you are in the right place at the right time! #644647

This is amazing! Took at peek at your galleries and am very impressed with your work Pat.

I live in the suburbs of Chicago too. It is a pleasure to see a "fellow Chicagoians" work.

Hope this makes it to the finals and beyond. #644790

Thank you, Barbara. I value your opinion of my work very much and your support. It's always good to hear from a "neighbor". Maybe our paths will cross one day. #644822

Beautiful form. You've made me admire the edges of a leaf in a new way. Nicely done.

Thank you, Nancy. This is an interesting leaf to admire, though. I also liked the green leaf against the green background. Lately, I'm into shooting greens against greens because the difference in color tones are beautiful and I try to capture that on film. #698098
