Fabulous clarity, colors and DOF Indrajit. I would perhaps clone that one small white spot in the upper left hand corner. It draws me eye. Other than that, this is superb! #4652329Amanda Chapman August 16, 2007
Amazing capture Indrajit!!!Nancy Grace Chen August 16, 2007
I agree with Michelle on everything she said. I'd also consider just cropping off the top 5th or so of the photo so he is full frame. excellent capture. #4656684Sylvia Rossler August 16, 2007
and I do agree with Nancy on the crop :O)Sam Britt August 16, 2007
Great color, clarity & DOF, I agree with Nancy & Sylvia about the crop, but it's still a great snake photograph. #4658478Patrick Rouzes August 19, 2007
This is absolutely brilliant work here, Indrajit!!! It is so clear it seems as if the head of the snake is coming out of the screen!!! Exceptiional work indeed my friend!!! #4669205Mary N C. Taitt August 20, 2007
OOooh, very interesting! Great colors and dof! :-D #4674273Jennifer L. Taranto August 21, 2007
WOW - that green just pops off the page!!! Love your model btw - what a cutie! #4678852Emile Abbott August 25, 2007
Hi Indrajit. Amazing as it is but I would have cropped and had just the head and body at an angle upward and clone out the green portion under the head and had a total black BG. This would have put the snake at an angle upward and the eyes would have then been in the prefered power position. Just my thought but I still like it as is and the editors did so as well. #4697126Shelly A. Van Camp August 30, 2007
Super capture..love the green! #4723288Jill Odice September 05, 2007
I like Emiles suggestion, but also like this just the way it is! Nice shot! #4753232Toni Riggs September 20, 2007
Wow, wonderful clarity! I agree with Michelle, the white spot is a bit distracting. But cropped or uncropped this is a great image! Good job! #4817213Bill Wyatt September 30, 2007
Judging by the eyes and lack of pits that he is non piousness’ variety. I know many piousness snakes lack pits loll. Great capture I love the way he fades it brings great focus to his face. #4864424Karen Slagle September 30, 2007
Terrific capture and I really like the green against the dark backgroud. This is super, Indrajit. #4866152Aimee C. Eisaman December 08, 2007
Wonderful job here...you are very brave! I love the bright green and the look in the snakes eye! #5182749Nikki McDonald February 02, 2008
Wonderful colors and composition here, Indrajit. I would consider resubmitting this one if I were you--perhaps you might want to look at Emile's suggestion and experiment with a slight crop and upload a new image. This would also have the advantage of letting you know whether you got an EP on it again or not. #5433100Michael S. Lazarus February 08, 2008
This is a great shot Indrajit. How you get these I don't know. You must have a great eye for detail and the patience of a saint :-) #5462900Donna R. Wageman February 16, 2008
A gross subject, but an outstanding image.C A March 09, 2008
this one reminds me of my australia trip where I shot a snake. But this photo is a lot better and closer. I was too scared I guess.. thanks for your nice comment on my ice climbing upload. Best wishes, Corne #5615855Songbird Cline March 09, 2008
