Description

Taken July 2007 on top of a coastal bluff on the south end of Kodiak Alaska. While photographing free range horses grazing in wildflower meadows this eagle drifted by on a thermal. Shot with a Fuji S3 Pro and a Tamron 300 mm. An awe inspiring shot for me, one of many from this trip north.

Shahn...this is OUTSTANDING!!! I love eagles...and am trying to capture a good image myself. There are many eagles on Lost Lake where we vacation, but I have yet to get a really good photo. Hi Lisa
The eagle was drifting across the top of the bluff, normally from below we try and capture this flight. I was very fortunate to be beside him and catch it.
