Description

O.K. hear is how I pulled it off. I took a photo of the spider web in the woods using a Sigma 28/70 mm lens with a 3X close-up filter
at about 5 inches. Manual mode f/8 to get all the web in focus, manual focus, tripod and remote. Sprayed the web with a misting bottle
of water to get the droplets. I took several shots and picked out the best one with the most detail. The camera was pointing down to
the ground to get a straight on shot so the background was mostly brown to tan. There are some pretty purple flowers growing in my
yard, so I photographed them OUT OF FOCUS to simulate DOF for a background. Opened the web photo in Photo shop CS2,
then opened the blurry out of focus photo of the flowers. Shift>drag the flower photo on top of the web photo then used a screen
blend mode. Increased the contrast of the web layer and darkened the flower layer. Added a frame and flattened the image. Now
the photograph has some color and the web stands out nicely. Your co
