Afurada, Gaia, area on the other side of the river Douro, opposite to Porto... you can go there by public transportation boat... as we did.....

No, Colleen, I do't take my laundry with me... I do it myself at home (or else, my machine washer does it...) LOL

Tony: good to hear from you! hope that you now re-begin to upload some wonderful portrait shots!!!!!

Carolyn and TOny: I do love observing... and also observing "minor" daily details... portraits of daily life is something I love doing... apart from macro graphics...

Terry: though this will be very simplistic / reducionist to explain it all, we have 2 Portugals: the one with clothes on the line and the one with washing / drying machines..... which one is "better" is something I don't yet know....
