Bird of the Sunset
Uploaded: January 20, 2007
I shot this in Pacific Beach, San Diego. I set the exposure at -1 to bring out the color. I saw a bird coming in out of the corner of my eye and waited for it to get in the picture. Slightly sharpened in Photoshop Elements.

Outstanding sunset image, Darrel! #3842978Cheryl E. Davis January 20, 2007
Awesome sunset shot, Darrel! I've always wanted to capture a sunset with the sun rays coming out from the clouds. I've taken plenty of sunset shots, just have never hit it at the right time. The bird is a nice bonus! Wonderful saturated colors. Well done! #3844333Toni Riggs August 31, 2007
