This is a work of art, Marie! Love the colors, compostion, bowl, and texture. A question about texture if I may... How do you add the texture to the image (or vice-versa) without washing out the image? I have tried texture layers, but the color of them always seems to wash the image out. I have been trying for canvas, but it never looks like this! #108219

Thanks, Jan and Stephen for your positive feedback! It is greatly appreciated.

Jan, I have ps8 and have never worked on any other photoshop version, so I have no way of knowing if any feature is unique to this version. Anyway, I did not use layers. I just clicked on filter gallery, went to textures, chose canvas and adjusted the settings. I usually like photos to look realistic and avoid a lot of alteration but this time I liked the effect! Glad you liked it too! Thanks!
