Description

...after 63 years of marriage.
This image was taken only seconds after the post-funeral graveside memorial service. They had just presented her with his flag (he was in the Navy). It almost looks like a pose but this is really how her hands were resting on the flag. She was devastated yet proud at the same time.
Image was slightly desaturated and used the black pen tool to eliminate some distracting objects in the background. Probably my proudest image.

I kept staring at this beautiful photograph. Her wrinkled hands with the rings setting softly on the flag just tells such a story. I can picture their love just by this photograph. Seriously, one of the most moving photos that I've even seen. #3828904

Thanks yall! Yeah, this image was taken only seconds after the "post-funeral-graveside-memorial-service" I guess you could call it. They had just presented her with his flag (he was in the Navy). It almost looks like a pose but this is really how her hands were resting on the flag. She was devastated yet proud at the same time. #4291441

This image takes my breath away. Everything about this photo works together to make a deeply moving photo - from the hands to the pose to the muted colors and composition. Congratulations on capturing a very touching moment. #4911864
