snow time!
Uploaded: December 30, 2006
middle of the day during the record snow fall in Albuquerque, NM. F/7.1, 1/200, shot with Nikkor 18-55 lens, and I think +1 on exposure compensation to brighten the snow up.

Thank you all for your comments! I converted the photo to b&w on PS Elements. Are you able to convert on camera? haven't found that function yet if so.Thanks again for the comments! #3762374

Wonderful capture, Jeremy! The children are in perfect focus!Everything I've read says don't convert in camera even if you can. You may change your mind later and wish you had it in color. And you'll have more control over the tones if you convert yourself from a color file.
Jeremy, see what others say, but I was just wondering if you cropped some more off the top if it would make an even stronger composition. It's always good to get more than one opinion! :)
Welcome to BPC! I think you'll do well here. #3769237

Really good photo Jeremy. I like the use of the black and white. I must try more black and white myself. Shame we rarely get snow here!Roger #3794250
