#5 Train reveals source of major pollution

Uploaded: December 05, 2006

Description

Everywhere we traveled in China had major air pollution problems. The sky in my slides appeared either gray or had a magenta cast. The reason was air pollution from the burning of trash and coal. Everything that breathed or consumed the waters collected the arsenic, lead and cadmium as well as other poisons from the burning of coal. Scientific studies have linked coal and trash to energy power plants to peripheral artery disease. For me, already poisoned with a chemical floor stripper and insecticides: my fingers were numb, with severe pain beginning with intense pins and needles sensation, which worsened but never improved. By the time were cruised the Yangtze, I choose to try acupuncture to reduce the excruciating pain.
