A father holds the flag from his son's funeral. This was taken at a peace rally on Oct 28th in LA.....there were no words to discribe his pain...
he did not have to hold up any signs or say any word...we need our soldiers home. PEACE

I am taken by this shot. I am a sailor stationed with the Marine Corps and I can feel the sorrow in the picture. The effect brings out the emotion in the shot. I use this effect in my work as well. #3665991

Debbie,
I agree that this is a very powerful image. I love it. My dad died from cancer last May and my mom gave me the flag from his coffin . He was a veteran. I will treasure it as I'm sure the genteleman in the picture will treasure his. Thankyou for sharing this wonderful photo.
