Interesting, this looks very much like an orchid. Where was it taken? #702199

The scientific name is maranta leuconeura (or leucoreura is one spelling I've seen). The plant was in a pot, and I took the pot outside so the sunlight could light up the petals, and the fence was in a shadow so it looked black in the photo, because of the exposure settings.
