This waterfall is in Monte Sano State Park. I love this one because it creates a perfect vail.

Very nice Wes, I had no idea we had falls in the area ~ I have not made any pictures up there, will see if I can find that one, it is beautiful.Wes Thomas October 10, 2006
Jo Ann, there are actually two waterfalls in Monte Sano State Park. This one is located near the scenic overlook/pavilion in the picnic area. This is the area with the playground and the refurbished lodge. If you walk straight back from the parking lot to the overlook, this waterfall is just below the pavilion there. The trail is to the right.
The other two waterfalls are located down the mountain on the trail that follows beside the creek as it tumbles down the mountain. It's a bit of a hike down and even more of one back up, but these two are larger and when it's been raining, more impressive.
I have to admit that I like the one at the top because of the delicate nature of the water, but the other two are great in their own ways. #3429988
